Tested positive for the Covid just before her departure for Tokyo, Ana Chernysheva had missed the Olympics. The young Russian wins again at the Karate1 Moscow which ended this afternoon. The world tour veteran Arkania from Georgia continues his good streak of the year and wins a new K1, like Sanchez Jaime. Italian Semeraro beats Zaretska and then Olympic champion Abdelaziz to win her 1st K1. A competition in which many people were missing. All the results.

K Mix, c’est pour Karaté Mix, la version MMA du K. Son héraut ? Loïc Marty. Formé au Shotokan, ancien membre d’un Pôle Espoir Kata, il part à l’aventure à 18 ans aux US, pour « voir ». Il deviendra combattant professionnel de la Team Shamrock. Depuis son retour en France, il s’attèle à développer le Karaté Mix en alliant tradition et modernité, fondamentaux et renouveau, ce qu’il appelle la « continuité logique » de l’art martial. « Rien n’est créé. Tout se réinvente », développe-t-il dans son interview, entre autres choses.
